How We Decide What We Charge for Travel
Nobody enjoys discovering a travel fee at the door. Here is exactly how it works with us.
- No travel charge in the four core districts. If you are in Tianhe, Yuexiu, Haizhu or Liwan, the price we quote is the price you pay — the technician's journey is our problem, not a line on your bill.
- A small fee may apply further out. For parts of Baiyun, Panyu, Huangpu and the outer districts we may add a modest travel charge for the extra distance and tunnel tolls. We confirm it before we set off, so you can decide whether it is worth it.
- Compounds with gate registration take longer. Large residential estates such as Clifford Estates and many serviced apartment towers require visitors to register at the gate. Tell us the compound and block when you book and we will build that time into the arrival window rather than turning up late.
- Emergency calls are prioritised by risk. A burst pipe flooding an apartment always jumps the queue ahead of a slow drain. If two emergencies arrive at once, the one doing damage to the building comes first — and we will tell you that on the phone.

Working With Building Management
In most Guangzhou towers and compounds, a plumber has to be announced, registered and sometimes accompanied. That is normal, and we are used to it. If your landlord, letting agent or property management office needs to approve the visit, we can handle the conversation in Chinese on your behalf — including explaining exactly what we intend to do and why.
For repairs that touch a shared stack rather than your own fixtures, the management office may need to be involved before work starts. We will flag that early instead of leaving you to explain it afterwards.
