Yes, as long as the job is what we discussed. Problems are sometimes hidden, such as a leak behind a wall or a pipe that fails when the pressure is restored. If that happens we stop, show you what we found, and give you a new price. You decide whether to go ahead.

Do you charge for travel?

Within Tianhe, Yuexiu, Haizhu and Liwan there is no travel charge. For outer districts such as parts of Baiyun, Panyu, Huangpu and Zengcheng we may add a small travel fee, always confirmed before we leave.

All prices are in Chinese yuan (CNY) and cover labour only. Any part we supply — a tap, a valve, a length of pipe — is quoted to you with its price before it is fitted. Nothing gets added afterwards.

The four things below are never an extra. They are part of the price, on every job we do.

An English-speaking technician

The person who quotes the job is the person who explains it — in English, on site, without a translation app. If you rent, we can also write the report in Chinese for your landlord.

A price agreed before work starts

You hear the number, you say yes, then we begin. If we find something the first quote could not cover, we stop and re-quote instead of adding it to the bill.

A 90-day workmanship warranty

If the same fault comes back within 90 days, we return and put it right at no charge. That is why we prefer fixing the cause over hiding the symptom.

Why Two Similar Jobs Can Cost Different Amounts

"From CNY 200" is an honest number, not a marketing one. A bathroom basin that drains slowly and a main sewer line backing into a ground-floor flat are both called "a blocked drain", but they are not the same job. Six things move the final price:

Access. A drain under an open balcony takes minutes to reach. The same drain behind a tiled, sealed access panel in a renovated high-rise takes longer to open and put back properly.
Pipe age and material. Older buildings in Yuexiu and Liwan still have galvanised steel or cast-iron stacks. They need gentler tools than modern PVC, otherwise the pipe cracks and the repair becomes a replacement.
Whether the leak is visible. A dripping joint under the sink is straightforward. Water appearing on a ceiling with no obvious source needs electronic detection before anyone can quote a repair.
Time of day. Daytime work between 8:00 and 22:00 carries no call-out fee. Night emergencies add the CNY 150 dispatch charge.
Parts. Labour is predictable; hardware is not. Imported mixer taps and thermostatic shower valves cost more than standard local fittings, and we will always show you both options.
Building rules. Some compounds and serviced apartments require the technician to be registered at the gate, and some restrict noisy work to certain hours. We plan around it rather than billing you for the wait.

How a Quote Turns Into a Price

There is no mystery to it. Four steps, and you are in control of the last one.

Describe the problem. Call, message, or send a photo. Say what you can see: where the water is, how fast it drains, when it started.
Get a starting price. Based on that description we tell you where the job most likely sits, and how long we expect it to take.
On-site confirmation. The technician inspects, explains what is causing the problem, and gives you the final number. If it differs from the starting price, you hear why before you agree.
Work and payment. We finish, clean up, explain what was done, and hand you the warranty in writing. Payment by WeChat Pay, Alipay or cash after the job is done.
