These are the jobs we are called out for most often. Each one shows what the work involves and the price it starts from on our published rate card. Prices are in Chinese yuan (CNY) and cover labour; any part we supply is quoted separately and approved before it is fitted.
Toilet Service
A toilet that will not clear. We use a hand auger or jetting, flush-test it more than once, and wipe the floor down before we leave. If the blockage turns out to be in the drain rather than the pan, we say so instead of billing you for the wrong job.
Drain Cleaning
Kitchen, bathroom or balcony — one drain cleared with an auger and high-pressure jetting, then a flow test so you can see it running freely. Slow drains in older buildings usually need the scale cleared, not just the plug.
Drain Cleaning
The stack or compound drain behind a backup that keeps coming back. Cleared with a professional snake, and if it blocks again we put a camera down it and show you what is actually in the pipe.
Pipe Repair
Dripping taps, worn valves, perished flexi-hoses, sticking flush mechanisms and exposed pipe runs. Copper, PEX and PVC — all common in Guangzhou apartments. Any part we supply is priced and approved before it is fitted.
Pipe Repair
Leaking connections and split flexi-lines on an instant water heater, usually from a hose that has reached the end of its life. Expect new valves and lines rather than a patch — a hose that has split once will split again.
Leak Detection
Electronic detection to find where water is actually escaping behind a wall, under a floor or in a ceiling void, then the repair. Detecting first is what stops us opening a whole wall to find one joint.
Emergency
Between 22:00 and 08:00 we dispatch to the central districts, usually with you within about an hour. The CNY 150 call-out covers the visit; any repair is quoted at the standard rate before we start, so nothing arrives as a surprise on the invoice.
Emergency
A split supply line or failed joint putting water on the floor. First we shut the water off and stop the damage, then repair, then clear the water out. If the flat below is affected, we can explain what happened to your landlord or the management office.
Pipe Repair
Old galvanised or corroded runs replaced where access allows — usually a single visit for one bathroom. Longer runs and concealed pipework are priced per metre after we see the layout, and the quote does not move unless you change the scope.
